Leadership Development

The Diana's Grove Mystery School began as a leadership training program for individuals involved in alternative spirituality. Leadership development in Diana's Grove-style work begins with personal work, and is in the context of community building. Personal development was such an important part of the leadership training that it became the foundation of the program.

Mystery School, at its core, is about potential...your potential. Stepping into the self that you could be. More leadership development resources will be available here soon. Please take a look at the Community and Spiritual Growth section for an overview of the personal growth and community building concepts foundational to leadership development in the Diana's Grove style.

Personal Growth--What is your destiny? What is the thread of the tapestry only you can weave? What in this world do you want to do, and what do you need to do to become the person who can fulfill your destiny?

Community Building--What does a healthy community look like? How is a healthy community built and sustained? Why is it important to learn group dynamics, and learn how to identify the intention of your group? What tools can you learn to support this process?

Cornerstones of Healthy Community--These five cornerstones form the foundation of the house. As Cynthia writes, "Without solid foundations, the roof will always leak, the door won't shut properly, and that corner in the back will be drafty."

Community Group agreements--These basic group agreements form the pattern of many Mystery School gatherings. Group discussions are a ritual of speaking and listening, and here is how we can support and respect one another in that process.

Inclusive Ritual--Diana's Grove uses an ecstatic ritual style. A blend of magic, community, and psychology, Grove-style rituals are geared to help you lay new patterns. Ritual is viewed as a community-building tool as well as a tool for personal growth. Grove-style rituals are participatory and inclusive.

Mythology and Archetype--Each year Mystery School steps into a myth. That myth is the structure for the year's story. Mythology is archetypal; it is a universal blueprint, it is about all of us, and it is a pattern for personal growth.
