Do you seek spiritual & personal growth?
Do you crave a healthy community of seekers?
Do you want to step into self that you have always dreamed you could be?

Take transformation into your hands. . .

The work of Kansas City Mystery School, and Michelle Solvej's classes, comes from the Diana's Grove Mystery School. Mystery School takes a myth for a yearlong program in personal growth, spiritual practice, community building, ritual arts, and leadership development.

Mystery School, at its core, is about potential...your potential. Stepping into the self that you could be. Cynthia Jones and Patricia Storm founded the Mystery School to provide leadership training for individuals involved in alternative spirituality. Personal development was such an important part of the leadership training that it became the foundation of the program.

"Create yourself, shape your world, live your dream… that kind of work takes work. That kind of growth requires a commitment: your commitment to yourself. It asks you to commit to your wholeness and to your potential. Commitment to your own growth can take you to the very edge of your soul. Commitment to your own growth can ask you to step into your past and your future simultaneously. It can give you the opportunity to be a healer in both those worlds."
--Cynthia Jones

Why do this work?
No matter what your spirituality, the work of Mystery School will offer you growth. In Kansas City, Michelle will be offering classes to help you find your center--to discover what you would like to become--and develop a road to get there, or classes to help you create and support a healthy community, or hone your ritual arts skills.

She also will offer a monthly class to bring the work of the DIana's Grove Mystery School to Kansas City. Learn more about the monthly KC Mystery School classes>>

"Self-realization, self-actualization, yes…but in the context of building relationships and sharing your life with others. Not personal growth just for yourself but personal growth so you can be more fully a part of a community, more acutely present in all of your relationships."
--Cynthia Jones

These classes and intensives offer an opportunity to step more fully into yourself and your community. Whether you want to work towards personal growth for yourself, or to help you reach for a dream and change the world, the work and philosophies of Mystery School can help you get from where you are, to where you want to be.

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."
--Margaret Mead

Tools:
These are some introductions to the Diana's Grove Mystery School philosophies and tools. Much more detail, and longer documents, can be found at the Diana's Grove web site.

Personal Growth--What is your destiny? What is the thread of the tapestry only you can weave? What in this world do you want to do, and what do you need to do to become the person who can fulfill your destiny?

Community Building--What does a healthy community look like? How is a healthy community built and sustained? Why is it important to learn group dynamics, and learn how to identify the intention of your group? What tools can you learn to support this process?

Cornerstones of Healthy Community--These five cornerstones form the foundation of the house. As Cynthia writes, "Without solid foundations, the roof will always leak, the door won't shut properly, and that corner in the back will be drafty."

Community Group agreements--These basic group agreements form the pattern of many Mystery School gatherings. Group discussions are a ritual of speaking and listening, and here is how we can support and respect one another in that process.

Inclusive Ritual--Diana's Grove uses an ecstatic ritual style. A blend of magic, community, and psychology, Grove-style rituals are geared to help you lay new patterns. Ritual is viewed as a community-building tool as well as a tool for personal growth. Grove-style rituals are participatory and inclusive.

Mythology and Archetype--Each year Mystery School steps into a myth. That myth is the structure for the year's story. Mythology is archetypal; it is a universal blueprint, it is about all of us, and it is a pattern for personal growth.
